Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

numble ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and your rights over it. By using numble you agree to this policy.

1. Data we collect

Account data (if you register): email address and display name, stored in Firebase Authentication (Google LLC).

Your display name is published on the leaderboards alongside your scores, where anyone using numble can see it. It is the only account data other players can see. Your email address is never shown, and is never used to create your display name.

Game data: puzzle scores, completion times, and hint counts, stored in Cloud Firestore (Google LLC) and locally on your device.

Advertising data: if you consent on iOS, or by default on Android, Google AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve contextual advertisements. We have configured AdMob to serve G-rated content only.

2. How we use your data

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Data retention

Your data is retained until you delete your account. Deleting your account removes your Firebase Auth record, all Firestore scores, and all locally cached progress on this device. Anonymised aggregate statistics may be retained.

EU/UK residents have additional rights under GDPR, including data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

California residents have rights under CCPA. We do not sell personal information.
